Creation of brand new elite nightclub concept
ZAK were tasked with creating an exclusive nightclub brand that will generate £100K net sales per week. Given London’s extremely competitive nightlife scene, our challenge was to create a nightclub brand that would stand out and create desirability to rival The Box, Cirque Le Soir and Project.
For the high net worth party set in London, a night out in London is all about having unique experiences. We had to create a concept that would appeal to our audiences sense of discovery giving them a night out they couldn’t experience anywhere else in the world.
We researched the elite club market and carved out a niche positioning that focused around music, creating a private members concept that included a top of the range recording studio. We then used all our branding and design expertise to create the entire Tape brand, including the name, logo and accompanying brand assets.
Tape London launched to great acclaim in September 2015. Jess Glynne held her album launch party within days of the official opening and Will Heard held a private acoustic gig in Little Tape – a 150 capacity private member club space.
