SLEEPOVER AT THE LOUVRE.

Have you ever dreamt of having a sleepover at the Louvre? Well now you can. Airbnb are offering travellers the opportunity to stay in the world-famous museum for the night. It will be set up like an apartment, and the bedroom will be inside the mini pyramid beneath the museum’s famous glass. To enter you have to explain why you would be Mona Lisa’s perfect guest. I said she should pick me because I’ll bring her some biscuits (custard creams, of course).

APRIL FOOL’S.

We all know someone who claims that dipping chips in a milkshake is a good idea. On April 1st McDonald’s announced a new product, ‘shake sauce’. Conversation around the dip online was divisive, with many fans of the combo being over the moon while the haters were hating. McDonalds soon announced that it was all an April Fool’s Day prank. I fell for it, did you?

BEAUTIFUL BARCELONA.

I’m a city girl through and through and so love nothing more than a cityscape shot. These beautiful aerial photographs of Barcelona by Márton Mogyorósy caught my eye this week. They uncover a different side to the city, revealing something that we don’t often see which is the urban landscape from above.

AI: MORE THAN HUMAN.

AI is one of those things we all like to claim we understand, when really, we don’t. That’s where The Barbican has come to help. Their new exhibition, AI: More Than Human, explores our relationship with AI and how it’s going to completely revolutionise our lives. I’m slightly concerned that the exhibition is going to tell us that AI is about to take over the world, so I’ll let you know if we all need to pack up and move to Mars.

OBAMA’S BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT.

I couldn’t curate a selection of the coolest shit without including the man I think is one of the coolest people in the world, Barack Obama. He hit the headlines this week for being voted the most admired man in the world for the eleventh year in a row. 11 years! What an achievement. If that doesn’t make you cool then I don’t know what does.

MAKE IT TO MOSCOW.

On Wednesday night our New Balance – Make it to Moscow campaign won the sports marketing of the year award at the Drum Marketing Awards.
We’re hyped. It’s cool and had to make the Cool Sh*t cut.
