Sexual positivity is one of key coming of age milestones for U30s. The SELFHOOD research shows that over a quarter of U30s believe that sexual positivity is more important than ever. As milestones change drastically from one generation to the next, we wanted to find out what’s important to this ever-evolving audience today.

This year’s Sony World Photography Awards picked their favourite of the year and the winner is British artist Alys Tomlinson, with her series Ex-Voto. Her series is praised for its beautiful production, technical excellence and sensitive illustration of pilgrimage as a journey of discovery and sacrifice.

TV SHOWS IN VIRTUAL REALITY

Samsung has made pilot episodes of six new virtual reality TV shows as part of a scheme to bring more content to VR. The new bundle of content is called Pilot Season and is part of a Samsung plan to mix exclusive, original content with virtual reality. So, put on your Gear VR and start tripping.

FLAT-PACK FURNITURE REIMAGINED

Niklas Jacob has worked with 17 other designers to produce a series of satirical flat-packed products in the style of IKEA furniture, for Milan design week. The collection entitled IDEA features 18 flat-pack products that wouldn’t typically be found in large-scale distribution, from a wooden car wheel to a cupboard to hide a lover. The immoral need flat-packs in their life too.

Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony - a little different

Mark Zuckerberg’s lengthy, two-day Congressional hearing was too much to handle for many and if you’re looking to watch a summary, don’t bother. This is so much better! YouTube channel, Bad Lip Reading, has offered its recap of the saga but if the testimony was muted and deciphered by a very bad lip reader. It’s hilarious!

VENOM… HERO OR VILLAIN?

Who’s excited about the Venom premiere? We are! The first tease left us feeling a bit meh, but this latest trailer is pure awesomeness. We need more anti-hero films and definitely more Tom Hardy. 10th May can’t come soon enough!
