THE MAN BEHIND THE WORST FILM EVER

The dream team of James Franco and Seth Rogen are delivering another promising hit. ‘The Disaster Artist’ reflects on the life of filmmaker, Tommy Wiseau and the worst film EVER made. The Room is so terrible that it instantly received a cult reputation and makes you ask yourself how is it even possible to act that badly. The Disaster Artist made its debut at SXSW to a standing ovation, but we’ll have to wait until December when it hits theatres.

BEYONCE IS WHITE?!

Is it Britney Spears? Is it Shakira, maybe it’s Lindsey Lohan? Nope. It’s Beyonce. Madame Tussauds really slipped up with this one. Accused of whitewashing and lack of effort, the wax figure is anything but accurate. Needless to say, it evoked fury amongst Beyonce fans and the museum’s excuse is ‘bad lighting’. Really?

REEBOK IS HEADING TO SPACE

When it comes to footwear, Reebok is head and shoulders ahead of the game. In fact, they’re higher than that. For the first time in 50 years, Reebok’s The Floatride Space Boot SB-01 marks the first design change to astronauts’ footwear, it introduces three revolutionary elements to the space boot – that of weight, comfort and style. The design is so sleek you would want to wear them on a casual day out.

Ad of the week is from FCB Cape Town and it’s hilarious and shocking at the same time. It highlights how people can’t even walk while texting, yet alone drive. While it might be funny walking into a lamppost, you won’t be laughing at the end of this ad.

BLACK ALICE

It’s ‘Pirelli Calendar’ time of the year again! This time around it is reimagining “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” with an all-black celebrity cast photographed by Tim Walker. The shoot represents a theatrical high-fashion celebration with equality and empowerment at its core. Or as Walker put it, he wanted to push how fictional fantasy figures can be represented and explore evolving ideas of beauty.
